Thursday, July 31, 2003 There will be NO September DOTM event Posted by: Editor Debi @ 04:51 MST The southern Colorado Lesbian Dinner of the Month Club (DOTMC) is for lesbians and bi-womyn who'd like to get together enjoy some great company and good food at local food establishments. Although we call it the DOTMC we really aren't a club but we do provide this as a regular monthly function. Locations vary and the next month dinner is usually determined by the participants at the current months dinner. By popular request, we embark on summer activities and breakfasts instead of dinners on dark nights! We will return to our 1st Thursday dinners probably in November! The cost is $20.00 for the first Sunday in September and $10.00 each month until May. The place is AMFBellview Bowl on Bellview and Federal and bowling begins at 1:00 PM. September 14th will be the first bowling day and we will meet in the bar to set up teams. Singles and Couples are welcome and it is not necessary to have a team but if you want to bowl with your friends the teams must be 3 or 4 people depending on how many teams we have. Led by Mautner Project Health Promotion and Research Director, Cheryl Pearson-Fields, the groundbreaking "Spirit Study" is designed, implemented, and evaluated by African-American lesbians and draws on partnerships with national and community-based organizations serving Black women who partner with women. The Spirit Study is completely confidential. Participants may complete the survey at their convenience online at www.spiritstudy.org or can request copies by phone/TTY (202-332-5536), email (mautner@mautnerproject.org), orpostal mail (Spirit Study, 1707 L Street NW, Suite 230, Washington, DC 20036).
